Grad Party and Sore Throat

I went to the grad party of one of my best friends today. It was really fun. However, right now I'm feeling pretty lousy. Now my teeth, my mouth is actually fine. My throat is sore, meaning I am probably getting a cold, I had a very violent case of hiccups, meaning my back and head hurt and I'm just tired and achy all over. So I'm quite miserable right now. Amazing how I'll recover fine from oral surgery but a silly cold knocks me down completely. Oh well. Saw "Princess Bride" and "The Sixth Sense" today. Both were good.

Wisdom Teeth Extravaganza: Day 3

Well, I'm a tiny bit better pain wise. My cheeks are a little stiff-if I have any swelling, it's not noticeable. Main problem is a sore throat. Hopefully it'll get better soon.

Wisdom Teeth Extravaganza: Day 2

Today, nothing much happened. I only had a little bit of soreness. So far no swelling. Watched a lot of movies. Ate soft foods and/or drank liquids. I am already sick of them. I was a lazy bum all day which was so annoying. 

I got a lot of sleep last night, hopefully will tonight as well.

Wisdom Teeth Extravaganza: Day 1

So sorry I didn't post yesterday, but I forgot.

As the title suggests, today I got my wisdom teeth removed. I'm glad it's done and over with and I never have to go through it again. Anyway, the procedure was fine. I had general anesthesia, which was weird on many levels. I got a shake from Jamba Juice, which was nice. One of my friends gave me some orange jello, it was really good. I'm actually feeling fairly well right now. My mouth's a little sore, but it's not bad yet. Here were the worst parts of the experience so far:

1. Taking Vicodin. That made me violently ill for a short period of time.

2. The effects of the anesthesia wearing off-that wasn't fun.

3. The feeling just before I went to sleep. Again, not fun.

4. My fat lip from the local anesthetic. At least, I thought it felt fat. It went away once the numbness did, though, so that's good.

5. Not remembering stuff! There's a few times as I was a little loopy from the anesthesia where apparently I said something, but I don't remember it! It's so frustrating!

Anyway, that's about it. I saw four movies today. Very interesting. Hopefully I can get some sleep tonight. Oh, and so far my cheeks are NOT swollen!

Memorial Day 2009

Happy Memorial Day, everyone! Didn't do too much, just had grilled ribs for dinner. Also spend a ton of time uploading pictures to Facebook. I still have a long way to go. I also got to talk to a friend today, it was very nice. Well, need to get back to pictures and go to bed soon-I work tomorrow morning!

We're Home from D.C.

Hi,

We're home now. I'm sad, but it's good to see Cleo, Cody and Cadet-such cuties! Oh, and I LOVE having my own room again. 

Will probably post pictures on Facebook tomorrow, maybe figure out how to post some on here. For now, I need to get my sleep schedule back to normal....

Washington D.C. 2009: Day 9

We got on the road, had Starbucks for breakfast (I had a coffee cake). I'll go back to D.C. someday. Anyway, we had Perkin's for lunch in Breezewood, Pennsylvania and got to our hotel in Ohio around 5ish. For dinner, we had Panera-I love that place. Then we watched "Kung Fu Panda", which was actually quite good. And now I am planning on packing and going to bed. Let me just say this: I am SO READY to have my own room. Though I do enjoy traveling mucho. Hopefully next destination will be in Europe somewhere.....
